【Purposes of Use of Personal Information】

• 1. Offering of properties for lease or sale; conclusion and performance of related contracts; post-contract management and claims handling; and provision of after-sales services (including acting as an agent where necessary).
• 2. Provision of personal information to third parties and outsourcing of personal information handling, to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose set forth in Item 1.
• 3. Offering and provision of information regarding products and services offered by the Company’s affiliates and partners.
• 4. To the extent necessary for achieving the purposes set forth in Items 1 and 3, the Company may conduct sales activities, marketing (including surveys and campaigns), and market research (such as customer trend analysis and product development) by mail, telephone, email, or other means.

【Sharing of Personal Information with Third Parties】

To fulfill the above “Purposes of Use,” we may provide your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and information submitted at the time of application or contract to the following third parties by mail, telephone, fax, e-mail, electronic systems, or in person:

• Property owners, insurance companies, banks and their affiliates, and utility service providers. (electricity, gas, water, internet, etc.)
• Service providers handling ancillary services; prospective buyers and related parties in connection with property sales or changes in management; brokers; management companies; and other related entities.
• Counterparties or prospective counterparties to real estate sales and lease agreements, real estate brokers, designated distribution systems, and affiliated companies.

[About Identity Verification Service (3D Secure)]

The following personal information collected by our company will be provided to your card issuer in order to detect and prevent fraudulent use:

• Name, phone number, email address, information related to your internet usage environment, etc.
• If your card issuer is located outside Japan, this information may be transferred to the country where the issuer is based. Because we are unable to identify the specific card issuer you use or the country in which it is located from the information we collect, we are unable to obtain or provide the following details regarding personal data protection:
• The name of the foreign country where the recipient is located
• Information on that country’s personal data protection system
• The card issuer’s measures for protecting personal information

Information on personal data protection systems in various countries is available on the website of the Personal Information Protection Commission (https://www.ppc.go.jp/). If you are a minor, you must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before using this service.

【Outsourcing the Handling of Personal Information】

In order to achieve the purposes outlined above, part of our business operations is outsourced to the following external parties:

• Rental business consulting firms
• Real estate rental agencies
• Tenant screening (by asset management companies, property management companies, and guarantor companies)
• Credit card payment processors
• Construction companies, equipment inspection companies, and property management companies
• Call centers
• Law firms and related offices (such as judicial scriveners and tax accountant corporations)
• IT system providers (software, cloud, and server services)
• Delivery and shipping companies
• Marketing support and research/analytics firms

In addition, to provide better services to our customers, we may entrust customer personal information to external service providers as part of our operations. In such cases, we select only contractors recognized as handling personal information appropriately, and through contracts and other arrangements, we require them to manage information properly, maintain confidentiality, and take necessary measures to prevent any leakage of customer information.

【Provision to Third Parties Located Overseas】

We outsource part of our customers’ personal information data entry operations to our subsidiary, AMBITION VIETNAM CO., LTD.

• Personal Data Provided: Personal information listed in the application documents (name, address, telephone number, mobile phone number, guarantee details, recipient, designated proxy applicant, parent or guardian signature, emergency contact, guarantor’s name, address, telephone number, etc.)
• Name of Foreign Country: Socialist Republic of Vietnam
• Information on Personal Information Protection System in the Foreign Country: Decree No. 13 on Personal Data Protection (13/2023/ND-CP), effective July 1, 2023
• Measures Taken by the Third Party to Protect Personal Information: Personal data is securely stored, with appropriate safeguards in place to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. In addition, internal rules and training programs regarding the handling of personal information have been established to enhance employee awareness.

Customers have the right to request notification of the purpose of use of their personal information; access to their information; correction, addition, or deletion of details; suspension of use; erasure; cessation of provision to third parties; and disclosure of records of such provision.
